## Job description

### What You'll Do

Principal Financial Group is looking for a Process Specialist - Custodian to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a global leader in financial services and be part of a team that values innovation and flawless execution!

### Key Responsibilities

Understanding of Trade Lifecycle, Trade Settlement, Trade capture, Trade Processing, and Trade Validation. Coordinate with custodian’s brokers and other collaborators to resolve trade breaks or discrepancies. Monitor trade settlement status and ensure timely processing of trades as per settlement date. Interact with both internal and external collaborators to resolve queries. Ensure client positions are processed within the agreed timeline.

Work with custodians and brokers for timely matching and settlement. Resolve failed trade queries. May engage or lead change initiatives for process improvement/innovation.

### Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of relevant experience in Employee Benefit, and Trust and Custody. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work and communicate effectively with business partners and management. Experience with SEI T3000 and Blackline preferred/beneficial.
