## Job description

### Job Summary

Performs accounting functions including reconciling and balancing accounts, applying payments and account reconciliations. This position interacts with the Accounting Manager, other accounting department personnel, and all AFFLINK associates.

### Duties/Responsibilities
- Reconcile and balance accounts
- Ensure transactions are properly recorded and reconciled at month end.
- Prepares journal entries as deemed necessary in accounts for which responsibility has been delegated.
- Prepare month end account reconciliations
- Apply payments received each day for departments which responsibility has been delegated.
- Cash Sheet and lockbox backup duties include downloading the lockbox, loading cash sheet with deposit information, and processing images in the scanner.
- Performs additional assigned duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Director of Accounting or other management.
