[Apply on PepsiCo’s careers site →](https://olivia.paradox.ai/co/PepsiCo10/Job?job_id=P1-6643782-2&posting_type=1) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [PepsiCo](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/pepsico/) / Maintenance Mechanic (Experienced) ## Job description ### Quick Look Pay $43.26 per hour Location: Dayville, CT Work Days: Tuesday - Saturday 2nd shift Start Time: 4:00 pm End Time: 12:30 am ### Minimum Qualifications At least - 18 years of age or older Required to work on weekends and holidays - Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without accommodation - Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably. ### What You’ll Do - Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps - Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment - Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability - Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action - Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety Helpful Experience Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors) Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems) ### What to Expect On-the-Job Training Learn the role through hands-on and classroom training High Energy Workplace: On the go for most of the day in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment that involves lifting, bending, and moving product throughout your shift Health & Lifestyle Benefits: As a full‑time team member, you’ll be supported with competitive pay, meaningful benefits, and opportunities to grow a long‑term career at PepsiCo.
