With six manufacturing facilities, 50 major distribution centers and 70,000+ customers from coast to coast, we're constantly searching for committed, hardworking individuals to help build our team. We are looking for driven candidates currently enrolled in post-secondary education to work as a Warehouse Tech who want a value-added experience in plant operations at our food manufacturing facility in Scarborough, Ontario. ### Compensation $19/hr This position will require full-time availability May through September and you can be assigned to a variety of shifts (including weekends) between the hours of 7am-11pm, as well as overnight shifts 11pm-7am. ### Responsibilities Unloads cardboard and returned product from route trucks and processes them into inventory. Sorts, stacks, and bundles cardboard for recycling or disposal. Picks customer orders using voice-directed technology or handheld scanners (full-case picking). Picks individual items or bags using the pre-pick module/cart system. Loads route trucks with product using roller carts or by manual handling. Performs general housekeeping and sanitation tasks to maintain cleanliness of the facility and grounds. Follows safe work practices at all times, including proper lifting techniques. Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings. ### Qualifications Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent - Must be enrolled in a post secondary education program in Canada Available to work up to and including Labour Day weekend Great teamwork and excellent communication skills Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Flexible –Willingness to work all shifts including afternoons, nights, weekends, and weekend nights - Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping and stair climbing - Must be able to lift / carry up to 50lbs What you can expect from us A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work A supportive and collaborative team invested in your growth and development An opportunity to be meaningful and impactful within your work and projects An opportunity to give back to the community with our Always on Volunteer 360 Program An organization that aims to use their scale, reach and expertise to build a more sustainable world PepsiCo may use Artificial Intelligence as part of its hiring process.
