Provide credit decision/approval of credit propositions, credit review, temporary excesses and transaction exceptions within authorized lending authority limit. Collaborate closely with business units to identify and evaluate new opportunities. Participate in joint client engagements and site visits, offering strategic guidance on facility structuring and risk mitigation. Work closely with business units to timely identify issues/ early warning signs, ensure appropriate credit classification and initiate appropriate risk mitigating actions for deteriorating credits. Co-develop and continuously refine Target Market Definitions and Risk Acceptance Criteria in partnership with business and risk teams, ensuring relevance to evolving market conditions. Perform targeted portfolio scans or reviews in response to events/developments that may have an adverse impact on overall credit quality and to formulate action plans to minimize / manage risks identified. Lead or undertake adhoc tasks/ projects as may be required from time to time. A recognized Degree or equivalent, such as in Accounting/ Finance/ Commerce/ Economics/ Business Minimum 15 years of experience in credit assessment /approval in credit risk or front line covering commercial credits. Proven leadership experience in managing senior credit professionals and influencing across functions. Able to work under pressure with tight turnaround time. Agile in undertaking other credit-related matters apart from the typical credit assessment/approval tasks.
