As an Intern within Provision & Capital Analytics, you'll have the opportunity to work on digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance reporting, and create value through innovative solutions. You'll develop practical experience in data analytics, automation, and risk management while contributing to projects that support the bank's strategic objectives. How You Succeed To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, proactive, and solution-oriented. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, leverage technology to address business challenges, and support data-driven decision-making. Your ability to analyse information, collaborate across teams, and turn ideas into practical solutions will be key to delivering impactful outcomes and driving continuous improvement. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Digital Transformation Initiatives: support AI, Digital and Data (ADD) initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, enhancing processes, and delivering value-added outcomes Process Improvement: work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation, and workflow optimisation across risk management activities Data Analytics: analyse and interpret data to uncover insights, support decision-making, and identify trends relevant to business and risk objectives Solution Development: assist in designing, developing, and implementing dashboards, tools, prototypes, and automation solutions to enhance productivity Reporting & Visualisation: support the creation of reports and visualisations that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders and management Innovation Projects: contribute to projects focused on leveraging technology and data to improve operational effectiveness and support business transformation Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and support project implementation Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on other analytics, automation, and risk management initiatives as assigned Who You Work With Group Risk Portfolio Management plays a key role in supporting the bank's risk management framework through portfolio analytics, capital management, and strategic risk insights. Within the Provision & Capital Analytics team, you'll work alongside risk professionals, data specialists, and business stakeholders who leverage data, technology, and analytics to enhance decision-making and strengthen risk governance. You'll gain valuable exposure to how innovation and digital solutions are transforming risk management within the financial services industry. ### Who You Are Open to learning and feedback - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Curious about technology, data analytics, and digital transformation Proactive with the ability to take initiative and drive improvements Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Familiarity with Power BI, Python, or other automation and analytics tools would be advantageous - Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Exposure to credit portfolio risk management and analytics within a banking environment Hands-on experience identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency Practical experience developing technology-enabled solutions to address business needs Opportunities to build skills in data analysis, automation, dashboard development, and digital innovation Exposure to AI, Digital and Data (ADD) initiatives that support transformation across risk management functions Experience collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value-adding business outcomes Opportunities to strengthen problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a professional setting Insights into how technology, data, and innovation can create value and support strategic business objectives within a leading financial institution What we offer: Competitive base salary.
