As an Intern within the Tech, Media & Telecom team, you'll gain valuable exposure to corporate banking, industry research, and strategic client coverage. You'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical, research, and financial assessment skills while working alongside experienced bankers who support innovative companies shaping the future of the global economy. How You Succeed To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and commercially minded. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and industry specialists to analyse market developments, evaluate financial performance, and identify opportunities within the rapidly evolving TMT landscape. Your ability to interpret data, synthesise insights, and communicate effectively will help support business decisions and strengthen client relationships. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Industry Research: conduct research on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors to identify key trends, growth drivers, and developments impacting corporate banking clients Market Intelligence: gather and analyse market intelligence, economic indicators, and industry developments to support business planning and client engagement activities Financial Analysis: support the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, operating performance, and business trends of large corporate clients Data Analytics: leverage data and analytical tools to identify trends, evaluate market opportunities, and generate actionable business insights Sector Coverage Support: develop knowledge of technology value chains, emerging growth themes, and industry ecosystems across key markets including the United States, China, and Taiwan Presentation Development: prepare client presentations, industry updates, market summaries, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders Corporate Banking Exposure: gain exposure to a broad range of corporate banking products and services, including bilateral loans, trade and supply chain financing, global markets, and global transaction banking solutions Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on client coverage initiatives, sector reviews, and strategic projects as assigned Who You Work With Global Corporate Banking partners leading corporations across industries and markets, providing financing, advisory, and banking solutions that support their growth ambitions. Within the Tech, Media & Telecom team, you'll work alongside experienced bankers who cover some of the most dynamic and innovative companies globally. You'll gain valuable insights into industry trends, client relationship management, and the role financial institutions play in supporting businesses through periods of rapid growth and transformation. ### Who You Are Open to learning and feedback - Strong interest in corporate banking, technology, and global business trends Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented - Strong research and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of financial statement analysis - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel Keen to learn about corporate banking products and services, including bilateral loans, trade and supply chain financing, global markets, and global transaction banking solutions Interest in emerging technology trends, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation, would be advantageous Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Exposure to industry research and market analysis within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors Opportunities to develop data analytics capabilities and translate market intelligence into actionable business insights Hands-on experience analysing financial statements and evaluating the performance of large corporate clients A broad understanding of the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology industries and the trends shaping their future Exposure to technology value chains and growth themes across key markets including the United States, China, and Taiwan Insights into how banks support technology companies through financing, transaction banking, and risk management solutions Opportunities to strengthen research, presentation, report-writing, and communication skills A deeper understanding of corporate banking, client relationship management, and industry coverage within a leading financial institution What we offer: Competitive base salary.
