As a Transformation & Data Analytics Intern, you'll be part of a dynamic team that leverages data, technology, and innovation to enhance operational effectiveness and improve customer outcomes. How You Succeed To excel in this role, you'll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities, and have a strong sense of curiosity. You'll work closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of data-driven and digital solutions. Your ability to analyse information, communicate effectively, and collaborate with individuals across different functions will be crucial in driving successful project outcomes. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Digital Transformation: support initiatives that drive operational transformation through AI, digitalisation, and data-driven solutions. ### Business Analysis gather and document business requirements, prepare user stories, and support solution design activities. ### Agile Project Delivery assist in the management of project deliverables using Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. ### User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordinate and participate in testing activities to validate solutions and ensure business requirements are met. ### Data Analytics analyse operational data to identify risks, productivity opportunities, and actionable business insights. ### Stakeholder Engagement collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to support project implementation and change adoption. ### Ad-hoc Tasks provide support on other transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Who You Work With GO&T - GCFS and Group Wealth plays an important role in supporting business growth and operational excellence across the bank. The team partners with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and business functions to drive innovation, enhance processes, and deliver impactful solutions that create value for customers and employees. You'll be part of a collaborative team that embraces continuous learning, innovation, and digital transformation to help shape the future of banking. ### Who You Are Open to learning and feedback. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Organised and objective-driven. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others. Proficiency in Python, VBA, Power BI, and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma. Interest in digital transformation, automation, AI, and process improvement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Exposure to operational transformation initiatives involving AI, digitalisation, and data-driven solutions. Hands-on experience across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and user story creation to solution delivery and testing. Opportunities to develop technical skills in data analytics, visualisation, and automation tools. Practical experience using Agile delivery methodologies and platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma. Exposure to stakeholder engagement and collaboration across business and technology functions.
