This includes developing test assemblies where electro-mechanical integration is key. The successful candidate will help conceive, design, fabricate, assemble, operate, and maintain bench-top setups that test the performance of onsemi parts for real-life applications. The Automotive Power Solutions group is developing state-of-the-art silicon and silicon-carbide power electronic systems to enable vehicle electrification globally. This position offers the opportunity to develop electro-mechanical hardware, teststand control software, interfaces between digital controllers and the test apparatus, working with high accuracy instrumentation in a power laboratory, while developing 3D CAD modeling and computer simulation skills.
