EDA TCAD is undergoing an exciting evolution, incorporating AI agents to improve work efficiency. The EDA team at onsemi is improving work efficiency using AI technologies as one of its primary goals. Candidate will have the opportunity to: Succeed in a fast-paced environment, measured by execution and quality metrics to deliver high quality EDA tools. Improve EDA TCAD applications to support the device design, product and applications engineering communities. Work with EDA vendors to influence product capability and roadmaps, including agentic AI to improve design efficiency. Develop and release agentic AI tools to the design environment to improve workflow efficiency enabled by EDA off the shelf tools or internally developed. Work across a broad range of silicon and wide bandgap semiconductor technologies, products and applications. Publish and file patents in the areas of EDA tools and agentic AI. ## Responsibilities Primary responsibilities Resolve TCAD support tickets by assisting the device design, product and applications communities with model setup, convergence, calibration, etc. Periodic review of EDA vendor product roadmaps to keep abreast of developments, releases, upgrades and to influence timing to support onsemi’s requirements. Projects to support enhancements of EDA tools, including: AI agents, regression and optimization, intelligent workflow automation.
