What you'll bring You enjoy practical laboratory work and bring a structured approach to experiments, equipment and data. You can take ownership of your tasks while working closely with colleagues in a changing laboratory environment. To succeed in this role, we expect you to: Hold a qualification as a laboratory technician, process technologist or in a related discipline. Have practical experience with upstream or downstream processes.

Bring hands-on laboratory experience for recovery processes, ideally including fermentation. Work with attention to detail, both independently and as part of a team. Take initiative, identify what needs to be done and follow tasks through to completion. Communicate confidently in English, the primary working language of the team. You will also benefit from being curious and open to learning, particularly as tasks and priorities can change.

Strong collaboration and a service-oriented approach will help you build effective working relationships across the team. What you'll do Your work will centre on recovery processes and the practical laboratory activities needed to develop and optimise them.

You will: Perform recovery activities using laboratory processes and equipment including chromatography (ÄKTA), filtration and centrifugation. Conduct experiments and analyse the resulting data. Prepare laboratory equipment and materials and help keep them ready for reliable use. Support the development and optimisation of recovery processes within the yeast fermentation platform. Help troubleshoot and resolve production process challenges through laboratory-scale work.

Carry out your work in accordance with safety requirements and good laboratory practice. Who you'll work with You will join API MSAT Process Upstream 2, a team working at the interface between development and production. The team currently consists of 11 scientists and specialists and seven laboratory technicians. Together, the team develops and optimises API processes at laboratory scale, conducts experiments, tests and measurements, and supports the troubleshooting of production process challenges.

Your laboratory environment will include fermentation, chromatography using ÄKTA systems, filtration and centrifugation. You will work closely with colleagues who combine scientific and practical laboratory expertise, contributing your own hands-on perspective while learning from others. The team also shares responsibility for maintaining its laboratories and keeping equipment in reliable working condition. What you can expect here At Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced laboratory technologies while contributing to the development and optimisation of processes that support our work in medicines.

You will be part of an environment where curiosity, continuous improvement and collaboration are important to how the team approaches its work.
