Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers. Ability to set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed). Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions. Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment – i.e., brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality. Pass Welding Performance Test (given on-site during interview process-Q.A. determination). Fast paced assembly style facility. Ability to handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift. What will make you successful? ### Education and Experience Requirements: Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Must have the ability to stand on hard surfaces while working. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled temperatures. Commitment to participate in continuous improvement. ### Preferred Qualifications Technical Training Desired with focus in Welding. Welding Certification, preferred. Ability to work in a team-based environment.
