Working with the Sales, Trading and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions to maximize profitability and minimize risk. Our division is responsible for the management and execution of millions of securities transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management, reference data management and various other client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients' changing needs Business Overview: Wealth Management Static Data typically refers to the information about a client that is stored in our database to uniquely identify and manage the client’s interactions or transactions with business or organization in Avaloq system. This data usually includes details such as the Client’s Name, Certification & Attestation details, Products and Services enablement (Commission, Custody Fees set up), Operational and Settlement related Static Data, unique identifiers and any other relevant information that helps in identifying and managing the client’s relationships with Nomura. Client Reference Data is vital in any Investment banking and encompassing key information about clients is essential for conducting business operations effectively. Accurate client reference data is crucial for compliance with regulations, risk management and facilitating smooth transactions. Effective management of client reference data is crucial for complying with data protection regulations. Good interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with global stakeholders. Good organizational skills to support multiple lines of business which is time sensitive Ability to handle pressure, high volume and risk. Understanding of the Trade life cycle. Technical Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal, influencing & stakeholder management skills Strong MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) skills Exceptional attention to detail.
