## Job description

Join Nokia's Optical Networks R&D team and contribute to the development of secure, high-performance networking solutions powering next-generation communication infrastructures. As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will help ensure security and quality are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

## Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python. Execute functional and security testing, including authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability validation, and robustness testing. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, architects, and security specialists to support secure-by-design development. Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation, and AI-assisted testing approaches.

## Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Experience with Python test automation. Knowledge of software security principles, Linux environments, and networking fundamentals. Understanding of security testing and secure development practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent English.

### Nice to Have

DevSecOps experience. Security testing tools and automation frameworks. AI/ML applications in software quality or cybersecurity. Knowledge of optical networking technologies.
