## Job description

As an Assembly/Test Technician on our dynamic first shift team (7 AM - 3:30 PM) at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing advanced opto--electronic products that power global networks. You'll collaborate closely with management, engineers, and fellow technicians in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment where adaptability is key. Your attention to detail and fine motor skills will directly contribute to improving manufacturing yields and throughput.

## Responsibilities
- Assemble and test complex opto-electronic products with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize fine motor skills to perform intricate assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret and follow instructions of varying complexity to ensure quality output.
- Collaborate effectively with management and engineering teams to enhance manufacturing yields.
- Adapt to changing priorities and processes to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain open communication with peers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay flexible in daily tasks, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.
- Contribute to a high-tech team environment, exhibiting a willingness to learn and grow.

## Qualifications

You have:
- Detail-oriented approach and strong fine motor skills
- Able to follow and comprehend instructions of varying complexity
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience in Opto- Electronic manufacturing operations
- Proficiency with MS Windows operating system and MS Office software
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
