You will study the control models designed by the systems department and define how they should be implemented in the software. ### Job Responsabilities - Use the official SW code development, version control, and code documentation tools. - Use collaborative work tools in accordance with the QoS plan ### Management of the SW specifications backlog Usual/Daily - Maintenance of the SW backlog - High level requirements analysis - Detailed SW specifications elaboration and maintenance - Product owner role - Collaboration with the Product Engineering Department - Collaboration with the System Engineering Department - Collaboration with Field Application Engineers and Technical Service Periodic/Occasional: - Participation in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. - Support to other departments. - Analysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments. - Training, supervision and mentoring of less experienced members. Essential Knowledge/Experience ### Background in some of the following areas - Power Electronic - FW development - SW development Required Qualification & Experience Minimum academic qualifications: Sciences degree or Engineering 6-10 years of experience as Functional Software Analyst Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is required. Some Travel Required FW development experience Embedded linux development experience Knowledge in some of the following fields: Solar inverters Storage Digital Signal Processing Neural networks, machine learning ### Skills - Ability to define SW architectures for complex products. - Ability to define SW specifications from very high level or even non-existent requirements for new products. - High-level requirements analysis. - Proactivity. - Analytical, Rigor, method. - Ability to work in a team. - Dynamism in the execution of the work. - Dedication to work - Eagerness to learn. - Self-learning capabilities - Communication and teaching skills At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
