This includes continuous monitoring of the group’s reserve position, and the further development of actuarial methods, the underlying systems and tools. The department Global Process Owner IFRS 17 within Central Reserving is responsible for the provisioning of high-quality data, state-of-the-art reserving products, tools and analyses to the global reserving community related to the new accounting standard IFRS 17. The focus is on the implementation of missing functionalities, automation of processes and controls as well as execution of quarterly IFRS 17 closing procedures including technical quality assurance. To complement our team of experts, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated to contribute towards our targets and who are highly interested in understanding reserving processes in order to transfer them into technical solutions. Your Job Taking responsibility for global provisioning of IFRS 17 reserving-relevant analyses, reports and data in excellent quality Overseeing the efficient execution of IFRS 17 processing and quality assurance during quarterly closing Driving the implementation of automation of processes and controls as well as enhancement of IFRS 17 reporting Driving test initiatives including test automation, test efficiency as well as test management for different test types Creating a constructive work environment and establish a strong communication within the team, as well as with colleagues in the global reserving community Supporting the global reserving community refining the global reserving process for IFRS 17, particularly focusing on a proactive and positive change management Your Profile University degree with quantitative focus (e.g. mathematics, actuarial science, information technology, or economics) Experience in an actuarial role (e.g. in Reserving, Pricing, Risk Management, Underwriting, insurance audit) Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, or experience in statistical programming languages (e.g., R or Python), experience in developing tools based on cubes (e.g., TM1, SSAS) - Strong strategic, conceptual and analytical skillset, focusing on pragmatic development of innovative concepts and solutions Intrinsically motivated team player with a positive attitude towards leading change Working collaboratively and effectively in an international group dynamic, often virtual; proficient in agile ways of working Empathy and persuasive power combined with the ability to give, demand, and consider feedback - Strong written and verbal communication in English Application Instructions In order to consider your application, we require your application to be submitted via our online applicant portal.
