This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership in continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate across departments to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations while driving projects that enhance productivity and product performance. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes. ### Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and quality. - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues affecting production equipment, automation systems, and tooling. - Lead process improvement and product enhancement projects with measurable results. - Provide technical guidance and coaching to cross-functional teams. - Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. - Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. - Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to support production goals. - Perform project work and other related duties as assigned. ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment with mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, robotics) and electrical systems (PLCs, sensors, motor controls, HMIs). - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred. ### Key Competencies - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Organizational and time-management skills. - Commitment to innovation and continuous learning. ### Work Environment - On-site in a manufacturing facility. - Requires hands-on work around machinery, electrical systems, and production lines.
