Job description ATCO – PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – Assembly (Sacramento, CA)
- Onsite 1st Shift

### POSITION SUMMARY

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor who has exceptional supervisory and leadership skills to lead a production team of 35-50 hourly employees in Sacramento, California. This position will supervise and monitor employees’ productivity and oversee the safe use of equipment in a manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBLITY
- Responsible for the quality, production output, and efficiencies of machines.
- Meet or exceed all production schedules and set goals
- Assign responsibilities to production employees and monitor their performance
- Coordinates with Plant manager and other supervisors to resolve production challenges, recommends improvements to processes, and ensures alignment with organizational goals
- Serves as the shift leader, motivates and guides employees to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
- Conducts and supports hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions; manages production schedules and ensures all records are accurate and up to date
- Ensure all employees are trained to work safely and efficiently
- Effectively counsel employees per company policies
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations
- Maintain production equipment running and reduce unplanned downtime
- Monitor, control and reduce scrap or waste
- Motive employees to achieve production targets
- Promote a positive and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY This position manages all production employees and is responsible for the hiring and performance management of the employees. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position working 40-45 hours per week, Monday-Friday and may include occasional Saturdays, 9.30 PM to 6:30 AM. CLASSIFICATION Hourly Full-Time TRAVEL No travel is expected for this position

### REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of experience WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
