[Apply on MTR’s careers site →](https://careers.mtr.com.hk/careersection/mtr_external/jobdetail.ftl?job=98102&lang=en) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [MTR](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/mtr/) / Technician /Tradesman - Signal and Telecom (Ref: 260000JZ) ## Job description !*! ### Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, installation and renewal works of one of the following railway infrastructure\: Signaling, radio or telecommunications network related systems For Technician, he/she will lead a small team of Tradesmen and collaborate with contractors to carry out maintenance activities and conduct investigation on system/equipment faults.!*! ### Requirements Technician\: Diploma / Certificate in a related engineering discipline A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience or 2 years’ experience after completion of apprenticeship Candidates with lower qualification or less experience will be considered for the Tradesman position Tradesman\: Form 3 education level with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience; or Completion of Craft Certificate Possession of the following qualifications is preferred for the aforementioned positions\: Relevant certificates issued by recognised institutions e.g. Construction Workers Registration Card Driving licences of Class 1, 2 and 18, etc. Remarks The positions of Technician and Tradesman will have opportunity to learn new skills with corresponding salary adjustment via the Skills Progression Scheme Shift duties are required (including emergency repair during adverse weather) with allowance for overnight shifts The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme Applications You are invited to apply online via http\://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for either by email to recruit@mtr.com.hk or by mail to Human Resource Management Department (Hong Kong Transport Services (Engineering)), MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
