THALIS E.S. invests in innovation and the development of new products and services and promotes excellence in production, contributing to the formation of a dynamic environmental market by introducing sustainable organization and management solutions. ### Starting with the role We are looking to hire an Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the timely preparation of financial and tax reporting activities. During your day you will: - Record accounting transactions, including revenue, expenses, fixed assets, payroll, and receivables, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies - Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including invoice processing and verification, accounts payable and receivable management, account reconciliations, and accounting entries - Update cost centers and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation - Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, VAT returns, and VIES reporting - Support the preparation and submission of tax obligations, such as withholding tax returns, stamp duty returns, and other statutory filings - Prepare accounting reports and ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements What you need to stand out: BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field MSc degree in Finance or Accounting will be considered an asset 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or a similar role Good understanding of Accounting, IFRS, and the relevant tax and regulatory framework Experience working with SAP and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel - Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and verbal - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Well-developed organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proactive team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels Our Compass is the #ACTION #A_uthenticity #C_ompassion #T_eamwork #I_ntegrity #O_wnership #N_ever giving up What gives us energy: Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action Continuous learning to empower our teams Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group Competitive compensation package *We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.
