You provide hands-on assistance to support the operation and goals of the laboratory by planning and conducting experiments and applying your understanding to analyze results. With guidance, you plan and implement assigned projects. How you will contribute You will perform a range of analyses, prepare and maintain standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory, support laboratory activities while ensuring compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, and capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy. To succeed in this role, you will maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be proficient in generic and specific software packages. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: - Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements & Mondelez requirements in terms of microbiological safety of the finished product - Carrying out microbiological pathogenic and non-pathogenic analysis of finished products, semi-finished products, and raw materials. - Responsible for pathogenic and non-pathogenic environmental monitoring analysis & reporting as per the Mondelez international policy & approved Mondelez methods 5. Responsible for reviewing COAs( certificate of analysis) come from packaging suppliers and to make sure all tests are complying with Mdlz standard 9. Responsible for maintaining GLP of lab as per the Mondelez global standards 10. Contribute to Proficiency test samples and deliver 100% microbiology proficiency result 11. Monitoring of water, plant environment and plant air for microbial contamination and ensuring that they comply to Mondelez and regulatory standards 12. Ensuring compliance to organizational policies including HSE & Quality and Food Safety 13. Responsible for conducting required chemical analysis by using approved Mondelez methods & equipment 14. Responsible for training the core team on chemical analysis and conduct weekly validation on results 15. Responsible for ensuring that RM & PM are within specifications through CoA verification and inbound inspection 16. Responsible to raise lab capabilities to achieve all required inbound inspection 17. Responsible to improve supplier quality through raising quality notifications to suppliers 18. Conduct raw material and packaging materials release within lab lead time 19. Work with Lab Supervisor to monitor & maintain stock levels of lab consumables More about this role What you need to know about this position: What extra ingredients you will bring: Education / Certifications: Required Bachelor degree in Science, Agriculture food science or Pharmacy. -Specialization in microbiology is preferred Job specific requirements: Required up to 2 years if experience in laboratory of food safety, preferably in FMCG industry Travel requirements: Work schedule: Business Unit Summary Mondelēz International in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan serves the Middle East and Africa markets as well as Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
