Together, we’re building the future we all aspire to - making net zero reality. ### Role Overview Mitsubishi Power is hiring a NDT / Quality Inspector to join our high-performance team in Savannah, GA. The Quality Inspector will set up and operate various types of computerized and state-of-the-art nondestructive test equipment determining the most effective inspection methods to be used for each specific application. Example ( Red Dye Penetrate Testing) ### Key Responsibilities - Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions General knowledge of all other shop processes Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision Perform TPMs on equipment - Perform visual and dimensional inspection techniques Operate CMM using established programs - Perform moment weigh inspections and tap testing operation - Verify specified dimensions of parts or material - Test product for structural defects such as leaks or internal cracks - Perform air flow testing Requirements Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ### Communication Skills Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings. ### Math Skills Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. ### Problem-Solving Capable of applying common sense to follow written, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables. ### Computer Proficiency Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
