## Job description
- Responsible for promotion and implementation of the Group’s global / regional tax strategy and policy in Netherlands.
- Stay current on regional and local tax legislation developments, assess potential impact on the business and communicate with internal stakeholders, and conduct regular tax trainings to the stakeholders.
- Lead / participate in local tax health check projects or tax audits initiated by the tax authorities, supported by external tax advisors as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax-compliant and efficient structuring of transactions / operations and provide ad-hoc practical tax solutions.
- Monitor tax compliance status of local entities, support on review of internal tax reporting as well as external tax filings prepared by local entities, and further manage local tax compliance process improvement if any. Asist in the implementation of the Group’s global tax digitalization initiatives and coordinate with local entities.
- Degree in Tax Law, Accounting, or Finance; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., Tax Advisor, CPA, CTA) is a plus
- At least 5 years of professional experience in local country tax practice, preferably in an international setting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, especially with the ability to communicate tax technical issues with non-tax professionals
- Independent and team-oriented working style
- Proficient in tax software and MS Office
- Flexible working hours and options for remote work
