At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests. ### THE JOB MGM Grand Detroit is looking for a skilled Boiler Operator to join our dynamic facilities team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety across the facility. Your expertise will help regulate heating and hot water systems, supporting the comfort of our guests and staff. If you have a strong background in boiler operations, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our hospitality team! ### THE STARTING RATE $42.51 an hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Recognize required needs, repairs, adjustments, or replacement of equipment, perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the property, responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management, and maintain logbook - Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner, able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc. to find and determine source of power and gas issues using voltmeter or gauges - Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner Read and understand blue prints and wiring schematics to install and work on electrical components, understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment - Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property - Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention, able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.) ### THE IDEAL CANDIDATE High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Four years experience as an commercial boiler operator Eight years of kitchen and refrigeration experience preferred Ability to work varied shifts to include weekends, holidays, and evenings THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to a variety of company Hotel, Food and Beverage, Retail, and Entertainment Discounts Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking while on shift Free access to our employee fitness center Various programs and networking opportunities to help you get promoted VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION: [https://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=16577](https://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=16577) Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
