Your Role At the heart of our global Life Science business, this role puts you in charge of a critical operation: leading the Americas Export Customer Service team that connects our science and technology portfolio with customers in markets where we operate without a local legal entity. You will own the end-to-end order-to-invoice process across the Americas region, ensuring every customer interaction, from quotation through shipment to final invoice, is handled with precision, compliance, and care. You will lead, coach, and develop a dedicated team, setting clear priorities and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will act as the escalation point for complex cross-border issues, drive performance through KPI monitoring, and partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Regulatory, and Trade Compliance stakeholders. Ensuring full adherence to export controls, sanctions, embargo restrictions, and country-specific documentation requirements will be central to your mandate. You will also identify and lead process improvement and digitalization initiatives that raise the bar for how export customer service is delivered across the region. ### Who You Are You bring at least 5 years of experience in Export Operations, or a related customer-facing environment, combined with demonstrated people management and leadership experie nce. You have a strong command of end-to-end order management and Lead-to-Invoice processes, with hands-on experience in international logistics, export documentation, and complex cross-border shipments. You have a solid understanding of export regulations and trade compliance, including sanctions, embargo restrictions, export licenses, import permits, and country-specific shipping documentation. You are a confident people leader who coaches, motivates, and develops teams, drives performance management, and fosters a customer-focused, accountable team culture. You are skilled at managing escalations, balancing competing priorities, and making sound, risk-aware decisions under pressure. You bring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels. You are comfortable working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, CRM platforms, and reporting tools, and you thrive in complex, international, and evolving environments.
