OS OTA Solutions & Services rollout in RDC for intelligent component products. Lead E2E product definition, release, campaign, operation and rollout for China specific version as market function owner to support MB’s product transformation of product driven and software driven. Build up team, mentor, grow and retain teams. Setup culture of focusing on results and striving for excellence to exceed internal and external customer’s expectation. - OTA Strategy & Solution Architecture - Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive MB.OS OTA product strategy tailored to China market trends, regulatory requirements, and customer demands - Provide technical feasibility analysis and solution proposals based on Vehicle EE architecture and system/software architecture Drive OTA solution roadmap, balancing HQ global standards with China-local innovation priorities - Own the OTA architecture blueprint for China market, including backend, cloud, and vehicle-side integration - End-to-End OTA functions implementation - Oversee the full development lifecycle for OTA functions (total solution, onboard, backend & cloud, excluding ECUs), from concept definition through technical delivery and iteration - Manage product versioning, feature prioritization, and end-of-life planning for OTA capabilities - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of OTA function features - OTA campaign & Rollout Management Steer software lifecycle iteration on a quarterly delivery cadence, owning end-to-end OTA campaign execution in the China market - Manage the full OTA campaign lifecycle with other departments — from China OTA process, release planning, phased rollout strategy, and campaign execution to post-launch monitoring and closure - Collaborate with HQ and local China teams to align release sequencing, risk management, and rollout protocols (including rollback procedures) - Drive continuous improvement of OTA deployment speed, campaign success rate, and customer rollout experience - Customer Feedback & Rapid Response - Monitor and analyze customer feedback (internal departments, dealerships, end-users) on OTA functionality, performance, and issues - Lead rapid response and issue positioning analysis for critical OTA-related incidents, coordinating with HQ and China engineering teams - Translate field insights into actionable product improvements and prioritized backlog items - Establish feedback loops and reporting mechanisms to ensure organizational learning from each OTA cycle - Team Leadership & People Management - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing OTA team in China, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning - Manage team performance, individual development, and succession planning in alignment with company values and HR processes - Ensure effective internal communication and alignment across teams and stakeholders - Drive compliance with company policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards within the team Qualifications Qualification Education - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields - Master's degree preferred Knowledge & Experience - 10+ years of overall experience in automotive software, connected vehicles, or related domains - Strong architectural background in automotive software — vehicle EE architecture, OTA systems, cloud backend, and in-vehicle software stacks Hands-on experience with OTA architecture: secure update mechanisms, delta updates, campaign management, rollback strategies, and integration with vehicle ECUs Deep experience in automotive software product development and deployment — specifically in OTA, ADAS, IVI/Infotainment, or Telematics domains Background from top-tier Chinese OEMs or leading Tier-1 suppliers is highly preferred Familiar with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices Fluent in English (spoken and written) — executive-level communication capability; German language skills are a significant plus Native Mandarin Chinese Soft Skills Executive presence — Proven ability to present complex technical topics and crisis updates to C-level / top management with clarity, confidence, and strategic framing Cross-cultural collaboration — Track record of successfully navigating global matrix organizations, specifically between China local teams and German/European HQ Team leadership — 5+ years of people management experience leading product or engineering teams (15+ members);
