Drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Develop, monitor, and report department KPIs and metrics, translating business requirements into the appropriate analytics solution. ### Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce actionable reports and dashboards that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. Create, review, and performance tune dashboards. Ensure dashboards are accurate and display meaningful visual stories. Conduct data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions. Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities. Develop medium-complexity SQLs and procedures. This includes performance tuning SQL. Work with business users to identify analytics requirements on eCommerce and Marketing related projects. Participate as core member of Agile team across all planning, analysis, design, development, and testing activities including participation in all scrum ceremonies. Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas. ### MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s Degree. ### Certification / Licensure None Work Experience: At least 2 years of dashboard development experience using Tableau or other similar technology. At least 2 years of experience levering SQL for data analysis and performance tuning. ### Knowledge / Skills / Abilities At least 2 years of data modeling experience. At least 2 years of experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience in an agile/scrum environment. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, proficient in MS Word and Access. ### PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering or other related field. ### Certification / Licensure None Work Experience: Experience working with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Python, R. ### Knowledge / Skills / Abilities None Click here to learn more about a career in IT at Medline!
