## Job description

### Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding. Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in accordance with Japanese labor laws. Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans.

Drive employee engagement, retention, and talent development initiatives. Ensure compliance with all local employment regulations and company policies. Maintain and update HR records, reports, and documentation. Advise and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Lead HR projects and initiatives as required by site or corporate leadership.

Liaise with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, legal advisors, and government authorities.
