Join the MasTec family and help us provide the highest level of quality service to our customers and communities while maintaining our commitment to safety! ### Responsibilities As a Field Technician I, you are responsible for providing support in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Read and understand a customer's detailed plan - Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner - Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations - Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to doing field work - Review peer work product Other duties as assigned Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team 1 year of general construction experience preferred; some cell industry experience is highly preferred - Must be at least - 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred - Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity - Must be adaptable to changing environments - Must be able to pick up/carry loads of 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours - Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively - Must be able to work out of the market or away from home as work demands Hard work pays off. ### See what you’ll get for your effort Compensation: $21.00-$22.00 depending on experience Financial Security 401(k) with company match Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Life insurance Short-term and Long-term disability Red Wing Boot Voucher Health and Wellness Medical, dental, and vision insurance Dependent care and medical flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Work/Life Balance Paid time off Paid holidays Family and medical leave Paid sick time We meet your commitment with competitive pay and benefits.
