## Job description

As a Universal Banker, you will be the face of MashreqBank Egypt, delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your role is crucial in managing customer expectations, minimizing attrition, and acquiring new customers through sales. You will also educate customers on alternative banking channels and digital technologies.

## Responsibilities

Manage cash transactions through teller counters, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Strive to exceed customer expectations and provide exceptional service. Minimize customer attrition and reduce liability and service application rejections. Proactively acquire new customers through effective sales techniques, targeting walk-ins. Take ownership of customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. Introduce and educate customers on the use of digital banking channels and technologies.

Achieve KPIs for personal banking products and cross-sell other segment products. Ensure compliance with policies and processes to prevent operational losses. Improve service levels and handle customer complaints with a solutions-focused approach. Deal with complex customer problems and financial transactions, taking ownership until resolution.

## Qualifications

A University Graduate with a minimum of 2-3 years of branch banking experience. Age between 23-30 years, with a preference for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of banking experience. Thorough knowledge of retail banking products, processes, services, and policies. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. Strong sales and cross-selling abilities, with a proven track record in customer acquisition.

Computer literacy and a tech-savvy mindset, comfortable with digital banking technologies. Ability to work effectively with diverse customer demographics, maintaining a bias-free approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle complex customer issues. Decision-making skills and the ability to make informed choices regarding customer accounts.
