This role partners closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, Legal, Labor Relations, and Operations to support payroll processing, acquisitions, union payroll administration, compliance, audits, system enhancements, and process improvements. The position plays an integral role in managing union payroll activities, including contract interpretation, remittance processing, and the monthly reconciliation of union-related deductions, employer contributions, and payments. ### Responsibilities To be successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required. - Support end-to-end payroll processing activities as needed, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution - Review and audit payroll inputs, calculations, and outputs for compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements - Research and resolve complex payroll issues related to earnings, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and timekeeping - Serve as an escalation point for payroll inquiries from employees, managers, and HR partners - Assist with quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including tax reconciliations and reporting.
