## Job description

The Assistant Plant Manager will direct and manage the aggregate operations for a facility with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for a safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product.

### Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises hourly production employees
- Ensures safety and health policies are followed Complies with environmental programs, guidelines and policies
- Provides training to the hourly workforce
- Fosters positive teamwork Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to reach production targets
- Provides input to process improvements May participate in project or planning activities that go beyond day-to-day supervision of the team Qualifications:

### Minimum Education

Details High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Valid US Driver's license

### Minimum Experience

Required 4+ years related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Production process and methods Quality control methods Critical thinking Problem-solving Safety focus Environmental regulations Project management Regulatory compliance Resource management
