[Apply on Manulife’s careers site →](https://manulife.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/MFCJH_Jobs/job/Phnom-Penh/Assistant-Manager--Finance_JR26081875-1) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Manulife](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/manulife/) / Assistant Manager, Finance ## Job description Job Posting Description The Assistant Manager, Finance is responsible to conducting moderately complex financial, accounting and economic analyses, including journal entry preparation, taxation, treasury, payments and internal and external reporting. ### Position Responsibilities Involve in monthly tax and annual Tax on Income preparation and declaration to GDT including E-filling Involve in the daily Treasury Management and Relationship with Banking and financial institutions Involve in review and processing payment as assigned by the manager Prepare/ post journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist in the month-end closing of the accounts - Coordinate with external tax consultant if any - Review the reconciliations and investigation on accounting issues - Assist in preparation the financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders - Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner - Participate in departmental special projects and perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA) is a plus At least - 4 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting and taxation. Candidates with experience in banking or insurance companies will be of added advantage Basic knowledge in Accounting and Taxation and operational systems, knowledge of the Sun Accounting System will be of added advantage Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of IFRS will be of added advantage Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word is required Self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good inter-personal communication skill both internally and externally High comfort level working in a diverse environment and a dynamic team player When you join our team: We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
