Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics. ### Job Responsibilities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong foundation in: - Digital Signal Processing (DSP) - Radar fundamentals (FMCW, chirp design, Doppler processing) - Proficiency in MATLAB is mandatory, with extensive experience in: - Algorithm development and prototyping - Signal processing toolbox usage - Data visualization and analysis - Experience with: o FFT, filtering, spectrograms, time-frequency analysis - Detection algorithms (CFAR, thresholding) - Statistical signal processing - Good understanding of linear algebra, probability, and signal modeling - Knowledge of: - Micro-Doppler analysis for human activity recognition o MIMO radar - Angle-of-Arrival estimation techniques such as MUSIC, ESPRIT, CAPON, etc. - Experience with Deep Learning / ML models for radar data (CNNs, RNNs) is preferred - Familiarity with: - Automotive safety regulations (Euro NCAP Occupant Monitoring) - Functional safety standards (ISO 26262) - Experience in sensor fusion (radar + camera for driver monitoring) - Experience translating research algorithms into production code - Strong debugging and performance optimization capabilities - Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Awareness, Unity, Empowerment: At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
