Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market. ### Job Responsibilities To repair and troubleshoot base building and facilities equipment efficiently, safely and in accordance with the electrical codes ### Minimum Requirements Salary starting at $48.01 per hour. Immediate, open position. Certified Electrician (309A). Minimum five years’ experience in an industrial environment preferably in automotive or fast paced environment. Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job. Working with heights and confined space. Previous experience with base building facilities systems, medium voltage, water cooling systems, compressed air systems, cranes. Good interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented. Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety, and company policies. Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety. Basic computer skills. ### Job Specific Responsibilities Understands and reads all schematics and drawings associated with the trade. Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision. Troubleshoots actives and new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision. Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment, processes, and PM system. Basic PLC and troubleshooting. Trains apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment, repair, and safety. ### General Responsibilities Able to use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements. Meets schedules set by Maintenance Team leaders. Work within the guidelines of the Karmax Employee Handbook. IATF16949 & ISO14001 awareness and adherence. Accepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines.
