As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help us design, develop and maintain a greenfield platform using a modern tech stack. You will drive the future of our vulnerability management platform and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable software solutions. You will help build a collaborative environment to enhance our capabilities in identifying, analysing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our multi-cloud environment. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong Python expertise across backend services and APIs - Demonstrated ability to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems - Solid background in microservices architecture, with a focus on Kubernetes and CI/CD best practices Good understanding of cloud-native environments and integrating security or operational tooling Commitment to high-quality, reliable code through testing, automation and engineering best practices Experience with data engineering or modern data platforms (cloud data lakes, Apache Iceberg, Airflow, dbt) is a strong advantage We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
