## Job description

Join Macquarie Capital Equities, a leading provider of Algorithmic Trading services across ANZ and Asian equity markets, serving major global institutional clients and internal trading desks. You will be part of a high-performing development team in Hong Kong, working in a fast-paced front-office environment alongside quants and the cash equities business.

You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future. In this role, you will bring in your experience and work with APAC Algorithmic Development team while driving innovation through robust technical solutions. You will develop a deep understanding of existing algorithmic strategies and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance automated trading performance.

Collaboration with business and quant teams will be central to shaping product strategy.

You will also contribute to agile development practices, partner with QA, Compliance and Support teams, and provide Level 2 production support to ensure system stability and performance. 8+ years of hands-on development experience in capital markets with strong exposure to electronic trading strategies C# or Java In-depth understanding of market microstructure in Asia or other global markets
- Knowledge of sequencer architecture would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics is an advantage.
