This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic luxury retail environment and exposure to commercial finance, accounting, and business operations. Job responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis - Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management presentations. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. - Analyze sales, operating expenses, and profitability by store, channel, and product category. - Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions. ### Retail Performance Analysis - Monitor key retail KPIs, including sales, Average Transaction Value (ATV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), conversion rate, and clienteling KPIs. - Identify business trends and summarize performance insights. ### Business Reporting - Support weekly and monthly business reviews. - Consolidate data from SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools. - Maintain dashboards and reporting files with a high level of accuracy. ### Budget & Cost Control - Assist with expense tracking. - Review invoices and support month-end closing activities. - Monitor departmental budgets and identify potential risks or opportunities. ### Project Support - Support finance projects, including store openings and renovations, lease and rent analysis, and process improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, Operations, HR, IT, and Merchandising. ### Profile Education - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. ### Technical Skills - Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and basic financial modeling. - Proficiency in PowerPoint. - Basic understanding of financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. - Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools is a plus. ### Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
