### Job Summary

The Production Technician 2 at Lumentum Operations LLC is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks related to the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of optical components and sub-systems, ensuring products meet quality and performance specifications.

### Job Responsibilities
- Perform complex assembly and test operations on optical components and sub-systems, adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
- Utilize various hand tools, test equipment, and fixtures to complete assigned tasks.
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing, data collection, and analysis to identify and resolve product issues.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in products and processes, implementing corrective actions under general supervision.
- Operate and maintain production equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance as required.
- Accurately record production data, including work-in-progress, test results, and defect information.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced production technicians as needed.

### Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with optical or electronic components.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Experience with various test equipment (e.g., optical power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters) is highly desirable.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing or sitting.

### Pay Range

N20-USA-1:$21.65 - $27.05 Disclaimer: Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
