### Job Summary

The Prod Tech 2 at Lumentum Operations LLC is responsible for performing a variety of technical and hands-on tasks related to the manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of optical components and systems. This role ensures products meet quality standards and production schedules within a cleanroom environment.

### Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, optical alignment systems, laser welders, and test stations.
- Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and identify defects.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and product issues, escalating complex problems to higher-level technicians or engineers.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment as per established procedures.
- Accurately record production data, test results, and any observed anomalies.
- Assemble and disassemble optical components, sub-assemblies, and final products following detailed work instructions.
- Work within a cleanroom environment, adhering to all established protocols and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency gains.
- Train and mentor less experienced production technicians as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

### Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Optics, Manufacturing Technology) is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in optics, photonics, or a related high-tech industry.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and precision measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Basic understanding of optical principles and concepts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and procedures is desirable.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

### Pay Range

N20-USA-1:$21.65 - $27.05 Disclaimer: Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
