JOB TITLE: Backend Software Engineer SALARY: £76,760 - £95,950 LOCATION: Hybrid (London) ### HOURS Full Time (35 Hours) ### WORKING PATTERN Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. What you’ll be doing… As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll build elegant, performant, maintainable, operable and secure Golang microservices that power innovative financial products and services. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions, contribute to system design and architecture, champion engineering best practice, and help continuously improve development processes. You’ll play a key role in building a connected platform, developing data-driven financial insights, enabling integrations with leading applications and services, and supporting the delivery of scalable, resilient systems that help customers better manage their money. If you’re after a role where you can have an impact and do the best work of your career, you’ve just found it What we’re looking for? - Strong commercial experience developing backend applications in Golang Experience building and supporting microservices architectures Experience deploying and operating applications in containerised environments, ideally Kubernetes - Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases Experience working within agile development environments - Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across the application stack, including network, server and database layers Experience building concurrent, distributed applications at scale Experience working with DevOps or SRE teams to support production environments - Strong communication and collaboration skills A passion for learning, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality software And it would be great if you had any of the following...
