The role involves Linux kernel development, device driver customization, modem integration, hardware bring-up, power management, and system-level debugging for automotive connectivity solutions. ### Key Responsibilities - Develop, customize, and maintain BSP components on Qualcomm platforms. - Analyze and resolve kernel, device driver, bootloader, and modem-related issues. - Perform Linux kernel bring-up, customization, and chipset migration activities. - Support new hardware board bring-up, integration, and validation. - Debug and optimize boot time, power consumption, thermal performance, and system stability. - Integrate modem and telematics features into NAD and TCU platforms. - Perform log analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. - Support customer escalations and field issue investigations. - Collaborate with Qualcomm, OEM customers, and cross-functional engineering teams. - Develop automation scripts for testing, validation, and log analysis. - Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.
