## Job description

Leidos has an opening for Sr. Network Design Engineer – Core (WAN) to support our government customers’ global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.

### Minimum Requirements

Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture Developing MPLS WAN services solution Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing Assisting with the security accreditation process Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation. On as-needed basis, the engineer will also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing pro-active network analysis solution for the operations team.

### Required Clearance at the time of application

TS SCI with active Polygraph Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master’s and 10 years, bachelor’s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years.

### Required qualifications include the following

Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2. If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. ### Pay Range

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
