The Maintenance Specialist/Engineer will ensure optimum reliability and functionality for Legrand Starline facilities, grounds, manufacturing equipment, and fleet. ## Responsibilities ### Main Job Duties - Oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility maintenance that needs to be done. - Lead the preventative maintenance program. Develops maintenance procedures and schedules, ensures maintenance work, repair work and construction projects are completed. - Ensure the facility are well maintained through landscaping contractor and building cleanliness through custodial contractor. - Diagnoses mechanical or electrical problems and determines best course of action for correction. Support production in troubleshooting complex machinery failures. - Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all departments. - Ensures all company vehicles are within Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance. - Reads and interprets facility blueprints.
