This position demands a strong understanding of BTech electrical specifications, tendering processes, and government project requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance NEDS' market position and drive sales growth. ## Responsibilities Lead and manage the L7 - IN - LEGRAND - Project Sales team, providing strategic direction and guidance. Develop and implement sales strategies to target government projects and OEM clients. Stay updated with the latest electrical and digital systems technologies and trends. Prepare and submit tenders and proposals for government projects, ensuring compliance with specifications. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Oversee the product description and marketing materials, ensuring accurate and compelling content. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical and digital solutions. Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement. Provide mentorship and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. ## Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BTech Electrical preferred). Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales or business development role, with a focus on electrical systems. Proven track record of successful tendering and project management in the government sector. Excellent knowledge of electrical specifications and standards. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant sales/CRM software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
