## Job description

Lead HVAC engineering and design activities for offshore oil & gas facilities, platforms, modules, substations, control rooms, living quarters, and process buildings. Act as Area Lead for HVAC engineering scope throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement Support, Construction Support, and Commissioning phases. Establish HVAC design criteria and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

### Prepare, review, and approve

HVAC Design Basis HVAC Philosophies HVAC Specifications Equipment Datasheets Material Requisitions Vendor Package Specifications Technical Bid Evaluations HVAC Calculations Equipment Schedules Perform review and approval of: Heat Load Calculations Cooling Load Calculations Ventilation Calculations Pressurization Studies Air Distribution Design HVAC System Sizing Lead engineering activities for: Air Handling Units (AHU) Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU) Package HVAC Units Chilled Water Systems Split Air Conditioning Systems Pressurization Systems Exhaust Systems Ventilation Systems Smoke Management Systems Hazardous Area HVAC Systems Ensure compliance with offshore hazardous area ventilation requirements.

Coordinate HVAC design interfaces with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, and Architectural disciplines. Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project schedules. Review and approve HVAC vendor documents and package designs. Participate in model reviews, interdisciplinary reviews, constructability reviews, and client design reviews. Ensure maintainability, accessibility, operability, and energy efficiency of HVAC systems.

Support procurement activities and vendor selection processes. Resolve technical issues during engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and startup phases. Mentor and provide technical guidance to HVAC engineers and designers.
