## Job description

Responsible for the design, engineering, and optimization of slurry piping systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and contamination-free transport of process slurries used in critical wafer fabrication operations such as Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP). Develop and review detailed engineering deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping layouts, routing drawings, isometrics, and technical specifications in compliance with project requirements and semiconductor industry standards.

Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pressure drop analysis, flow velocity assessments, and system modeling to optimize slurry distribution and maintain process consistency. Select suitable piping materials, valves, fittings, pumps, and ancillary equipment based on chemical compatibility, abrasion resistance, cleanliness requirements, and operational reliability. Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and facility engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of slurry distribution networks within semiconductor fabrication plants.

Participate in design reviews, vendor evaluations, constructability assessments, procurement support, installation supervision, commissioning, and startup activities. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and contamination control standards while continuously improving system performance, maintainability, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
