## Job description

The Head of BESS Manufacturing will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for Battery Energy Storage Systems, ensuring efficient production, high quality, cost optimization, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role is critical in scaling operations and supporting the company’s growth in the energy storage sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all manufacturing operations for BESS, including assembly, integration, testing, and dispatchDevelop and implement production strategies to meet capacity, cost, and delivery targetsEnsure strict compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six

Sigma, automation)Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and R&D for product optimization and new product introduction (NPI)Oversee plant performance metrics (OEE, yield, cycle time, downtime)Manage vendor development and localization initiativesBuild and lead high-performing manufacturing teamsKey RequirementsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field12–18+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong exposure to batteries, EVs, or energy systemsProven leadership experience in managing large-scale manufacturing facilitiesStrong knowledge of lithium-ion battery systems, BESS integration, and safety standardsExperience in process optimization, automation, and cost reductionFamiliarity with global quality and safety standards (ISO, IEC, etc.)
