Control & Application SW ## Job description - Lead – Control & Application Software (Power Electronics)We are looking for a highly skilled ### Control & Application Software - Lead to design, develop, and lead embedded control solutions for advanced power electronics Products and systems such as converters, inverters, EV chargers, Traction drive chain, Solar /Grid connected Inverters, PCS..etcThis role involves control algorithm development, embedded software leadership, and system-level integration, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesControl Algorithm DevelopmentDesign and implement control algorithms for:DC-DC convertersAC -DC /DC-AC invertersMotor control (FOC, sensorless control)Product level - Control Architecture developmentDevelop and validate control strategies (PID, state-space, adaptive control, etc.)Perform modeling and simulation using tools like MATLAB/SimulinkEmbedded Software DevelopmentLead development of embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers/DSPsImplement real-time control loops, PWM generation, ADC interfacing, and protection logicOptimize code for performance, memory, and real-time constraintsSystem Integration & TestingIntegrate control software with hardware systemsPerform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testingDebug and troubleshoot system-level issuesSupport validation, certification, and field testingTechnical LeadershipLead a team of control and embedded engineersDefine software architecture and coding standardsConduct design reviews and mentor team membersCollaborate with hardware, system, and product teamsApplication DevelopmentCustomize control strategies for specific applications: Electric vehicles (EV)Renewable energy (solar inverters, Wind, storage systems)Rail, ON/OFF road Traction - Drive chainIndustrial drives and automationWork closely with customers or product teams for requirement definitionDocumentation & CompliancePrepare technical documentation (design specs, test reports)Ensure compliance with standards (IEC, ISO, automotive SPICE if applicableRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s in: Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics / Control Systems / Embedded Systems8–12+ years of experience in power electronics control softwareStrong understanding of: Control theoryPower converter topologiesEmbedded systemsDebugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)Good-to-HaveAuto-code generation (Embedded Coder)Communication protocols (CAN, SPI, UART, Ethernet)Digital power control techniquesFPGA basics (optional)Knowledge of EV systems / BMS / charging systemsLeadership & Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience leading cross-functional teamsGood communication and stakeholder managementAbility to drive projects from concept to productionPreferred ExperienceExperience in: Solar inverters / grid-tied systemsPCSEV chargerEV powertrains / chargersIndustrial motor drivesExposure to certification and compliance processes ## Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering (BE) ## At a glance -
